5 SENSES, MINDFULNESS & INTIMACY TANTRA YOGA RETREAT

In our modern lifestyle, one of our 5 senses is the most solicited: the sight. Let’s explore the world through the perception the others ones have to offer. We will cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness throughout the entire retreat to tune in, bringing together body and mind to sense the world more fully, more intimately.

As we move, we relate to the outer world through our eyes, our sense of sight, for example to keep our balance. However, this sense of equilibrium is implemented by our muscles, and how we use our bones to provide the necessary support. Could we stay balanced, or even enter into a state of stability with our eyes closed? Let’s find out…

By cultivating mindfulness, we will increase the awareness of our inner universe, made of subtle energy. Breath and meditation will help us to open the mind toward this deeper experience of the realm of sensations, allowing touch, smell, sound and taste to fully participate to our perception of every moment.

As you are apprehending your inner universe more deeply and becoming more in tune with your energy flow, you will enjoy the world differently, and more deeply than the eyes can meet.

Your host:

David is a yoga therapist and Ayurveda practitioner, trained in India and Turkey (RYT 500). Through years of practice and study of different styles of Yoga and spiritual traditions, he has developed a unique practice, with a simple and effective method of teaching,

Because David’s style is enhanced by his experience as an Ayurveda Practitioner and a Yoga therapist, each activity, from a restorative/relaxing approach to the more powerful and challenging yoga practice, is designed according to the students’ levels and needs (especially during Yoga Therapy individual sessions), creating a safe physical practice (with an emphasis on adequate body alignment & breathing) that sustains & nourishes our spiritual growth.

Spiritually inspired by the wisdom and compassion of the Buddhist tradition & Shivaism Tantra, and the universality of Krishnamurti’s teachings, each practice becomes a holistic journey that cultivates awareness & acceptance, authentic and universal values that give us the opportunity to discover who we really are, and to reach our true potential.
